Restored in 2013 this excellent TR4A has covered under 9000km since.

Here is an extraordinarily good 1966 Triumph TR4A LHD which we have been offered in North America. At present the car is still over there, but the asking price includes bringing the vehicle back to UK or Europe.

The TR4A was produced between 1965 and 1967 in Coventry, and replaced the TR4. Main differences included an independent rear suspension and each car had an IRS badge on the boot. The car was slightly wider and the wheelbase slightly lengthened to accommodate the new suspension set. The 4-cylinder, twin carb engine was retained with a few tweaks to raise the power to 104 bhp and torque 132 lb ft. Other detail changes were a new grille and Triumph badge, relocation of the handbrake and a walnut effect fascia as standard. In 1965 the TR4A IRS sold in the UK for approximately £968. Wire wheels added £36, overdrive £51, heater £13 and seat belts £4 each; The car we are offering is fitted with a very nice set of grey coloured minilite style wheels.

This car was treated to a full restoration in 2013 and remains in showroom condition, owned by a car club member in Canada. A pictorial record of the restoration is included in the sale.
